CIRCLING WITH FAERIES… — No Comments

  1. Oh…that book was, I think, the most wonderful gift….just look at the creativity the special feel of the paper, and its shape, have spawned!

I enjoyed this post SO much Gordon. We may be physically far apart but I feel in touch with your mind..and brain and heart!

  2. It is indeed a fine gift, as do quandries often come to be. Thank’s for your apprciation of my several processes…

  3. Circles are so wholesome and natural. Like the words of your post, they embrace and quieten.

I see the “womb” of your bells in these pages. Your drawings are the tongue. Or the sounds. And I see bells anew. The safety in that womb. The reverberation of a pure sound, encircling, both contained and radiating. The sounds could erase the Faerie pain, or be the pain.

Wounds heal in circles. Because time moves in circles.

    Rings of wood.
    Glistening bubbles.
    Halos. Auras.
    Pregnant bellies.
    Ripples.
    Nipples.
    Pupils.
    The moon.
    Wells of deep water.
    Onions.
    A tornado.
    A bald pate.
